Ever Pretty Dresses Review

I’ve found a new place to shop dresses and I’m losing my mind a bit here because it’s almost too good to be true.

Ever Pretty was so generous as to gift me two dresses of my choosing for review. Of course, I was over the moon because I just love my dresses. It took me a fairly generous amount of time to choose, but I settled on a v neck party dress with red flowers and an a-line pink number.

When they arrived in the mail, my initial shock was the quality. These dresses were both under $40 and they are beautiful. I didn’t know about the pleated pink number at first, but after a little steaming I could tell it was going to be a staple. And the material of the party dress is heavy and feels much more expensive than I would expect from a dress in this price range.

So, let’s break down the two with exact thoughts.

The Alisa Pan half sleeve pleated a-line dress is my favorite of the two. The material is thin, but not cheap. The dress is very lightweight and moves so well. It’s an excellent spring/summer dress between the sheer polyester shell and the cotton lining. It definitely needs a good steaming, but you should be steaming your clothes anyway. Don’t forget, damn it! If you’re really too lazy to steam, then store this dress nicely because it will wrinkle. It may have just been dumb luck, but this dress fit me like a glove, which is a shock as a plus-size woman. That so rarely happens. I can’t say enough good things about this dress.

The Every Pretty v neck fit and flare party dress is a wonderful dress, but it runs small. I barely got myself into this one. I absolutely recommend sizing up, especially if you’re busty. I’m in between a 12 and 14 right now and it was small. A 16 would have been better suited for me. However, if you size-up I would definitely recommend this one. The material is so thick and has a crinkle look about it, which is really beautiful. The blue leaf details on the flowers really makes for a nice pop against the red and the lining on the inside makes for a really comfortable party dress. And it’s sooooo flattering. It has a 50s appeal about it, but paired with a deep v neckline, so it looks both vintage and modern. Magnifique!

Gals, I’m just very surprised at how great these two dresses are for the price. And I know they were a gift, but I mean every word I saw. If they weren’t great, I would be honest, but I just don’t have anything bad to say aside from little nit picky details. I highly recommend!
